Bayreuth: Corona diagnostic vehicle successfully tested!
The Bavarian Red Cross in Bayreuth has carried out a field test with a Corona diagnostic vehicle for the first time in the Free State of Bavaria. The mobile laboratory allows PCR tests to be carried out regardless of location and evaluated within 90 minutes.
A Corona laboratory on wheels was on the road for the first time today on Bayreuth’s streets – the mobile test vehicle of the Red Cross, which was tested for the first time in Bavaria. The special feature of the mobile test vehicle is that it not only allows classic PCR tests to be carried out regardless of location, but also to be evaluated within 90 minutes. In the future, the diagnostic vehicle could be used in hotspot regions, companies, nursing homes or at events, according to BRK district manager Markus Ruckdeschel.
