In our production department our high quality diagnostic devices are manufactured in meticulous, concentrated work. One of the main tasks in Business Development is to proactively identify potential interested parties via various channels in order to then offer them our project opportunities, i.e. engineering services, and subsequently our production expertise. In my opinion, it is also important in BD to think in an applied way on the one hand and to pursue a broad strategic idea on the other. Another important point is the development of sustainable customer relationships / strategic partnerships. I also feel it is important to consider the question ‘Who does LRE Medical want to be in, say, 5+ years’ time’. My current activities also include participating in our national and international trade fairs. I am also working on developing a more precise feel for our IVD diagnostics sector (PoC) itself, as well as related sectors, in order to present the best possible image of LRE Medical to the outside world. In addition, my day-to-day work involves designing presentations, creating lists, using our CRM application and other everyday office tasks.

When I started at LRE 33 years ago, long-time colleagues often said: ‘LRE is like family’.
At the time I smiled at this, but today I have to admit that I have to leave out the ‘like’ – LRE is family.
Even back then, the company offered opportunities for advancement, so I was able to switch from production worker to employee. My area of responsibility was continuously expanded. Today I am responsible for change management and document management in the QA department.
You grow with your tasks and I also really enjoyed my time as Chair of the Works Council. Even in difficult times for the company, the cooperation between the works council and management was always fair and respectful for the benefit of the workforce. The best solutions were worked out together.
LRE offers its employees many special benefits – a privilege in this day and age and a sign of appreciation.
In the meantime, LRE Medical GmbH has maintained its position on the market for over 60 years. A success story that will hopefully continue for a long time to come.
